September 7, 2022: East of Eden K-9 Rescue is pleased to announce that we have received grant funding that will allow us to immediately begin addressing feline overpopulation in the Northern San Joaquin Valley.

EOE will host the first, of what is planned to be monthly, spay and neuter events for feral/community cats on September 27, 2022. PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROUND IS FOR FERAL AND COMMUNITY CATS ONLY! NO OWNED PETS!! (We are working on a possible program for pets that we hope to announce soon)

  • All cats must be in traps
  • No other items besides cat allowed in trap
  • Ears will be tipped. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Drop off location: To be announced
  • Cost: $35.00 per cat, payable by VENMO within 24 hours of booking. No cash or check payments accepted!
  • Payments are Non-refundable!
  • LIMIT OF 2 CATS PER HOUSEHOLD PER DAY.
  • Cost includes spay/neuter, ear tipping, rabies, 4-in-1 vaccine, and pain shot.
  • 40 cats will be altered on 9/27/22. First come, first served.
  • NO CATS FROM OTHER RESCUES WILL BE ACCEPTED PER TERMS OF OUR GRANT!

Please bear with us as we work out the kinks in our new program. We are taking the first 40 cats whose caretakers email us beginning at 12pm on 9/9/22. That allows us to track who contacted us first and respond in order.

As of 8:45pm on 9/9. all slots are full for 9/27. Please check back over the next week to see if additional waitlist slots open up if people with slots do not pay by their deadline. If they do not, those slots will be available by next weekend.
